1. What's included for free?

Free gives you 7 scans per week — the counter refreshes every Monday. No subscription, no account, no sign-in.

Free also includes:

2. What is Day Pass?

Day Pass (€0.99) is a one-time purchase that gives you 50 scans within a 24-hour window. It's not a subscription — nothing renews, nothing to cancel.

The 24-hour clock starts on your first scan after purchase, not at checkout. Buy it tonight, start scanning tomorrow at the museum — the pass waits for you.

Perfect for a gallery day, a market morning, or a stack of paperwork.

3. What is Week Pass?

Week Pass (€3.99) is a one-time purchase that gives you 200 scans across 7 days. Same price per scan as Day Pass — but a whole week of it.

Built for trips: menus in a foreign country, signs, tickets, labels, gallery walls — a week of pointing your camera at things without counting.

Like Day Pass, it activates on your first scan after purchase and runs for 7 days from that moment.

4. How do passes activate, and what's spent first?

You can see your exact balance and queue anytime: tap the scan counter in the app.

5. How does the +5 referral bonus work?

Every Good to Know card you share carries your personal code. When a friend installs Check It Now with it, you both get +5 bonus scans.

Bonus scans never expire and are spent after your active pass and weekly free scans. You can collect up to 20 bonus scans in total.

6. How do I restore purchases on a new device?

Open Check It Now on the new device → Settings → «Restore Purchases». Use the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with.

Unused (not-yet-activated) passes carry over. A pass that's already running stays on the device where it was activated.

If something doesn't come back, write to feedback@tatipanya.com with your purchase receipt and I'll restore it manually.

7. How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled through Apple or Google directly, not through Check It Now. We don't have access to your payment information and can't initiate refunds on our end.

iPhone: Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Check It Now purchase, request a refund. Apple usually decides within 24-48 hours.
Android: Go to play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory, find the Check It Now purchase, request a refund.

Once your refund is approved, the pass is revoked in the app automatically.

If something specifically went wrong with Check It Now itself (a bug, broken purchase flow, lost scans), email me at feedback@tatipanya.com so I know — even if the refund goes through the stores, I want to fix the root cause.

8. Is there a subscription? Do I need an account?

No subscription. Day Pass and Week Pass are one-time purchases — nothing renews, there's nothing to cancel, no card on file with us.

No account either. Check It Now is anonymous: the app uses a random device ID stored on your phone. You can scan, share, and refer friends without giving us any personal information.
